Republic Services Dumpsters
Republic Services, at the discretion of Harris County MUD No. 255, placed roll off dumpsters in various locations around the neighborhood for removal of building materials.
Regarding Republic Services - some Twin Lakes residents have been calling their customer service department with requests. The customer service at Republic Services is not handling the debris removal at Twin Lakes - only regular trash pickup and recycling. Darlene Marmottin is working with Colin Apostolo from Republic - 713-545-6488 or Darlene is his liaison from the MUD until Monday, 9/18, after which Henry Goyette will return and take over so that Darlene may take care of her own flood damage.  Henry's contact is 281-684-7030 or Continue with Darlene until Monday afternoon - then Henry is all yours!
  • They will not accept electronics, appliances, nor hazardous waste such as paint and other chemicals. Click here for a list of acceptable and not acceptable items.
  • To reduce costs, the container should be tightly packed. For example, if you dispose of cabinets please break them into flat pieces before loading them into the dumpster.
  • The debris loaded into the dumpster should NOT be higher than the top of the dumpster.
  • The responsibility for filling these dumpsters rests with the homeowner. However, you may use your yard service, demolition contractor, volunteer organizations, helpful neighbors, and/or fill them yourselves.
  • If your dumpster can be filled in one day, please notify Darlene at 713-502-9852 or, in order to have the dumpster removed earlier.
  • The dumpsters are scheduled to be removed every 3 days. If you cannot fill the dumpster in 3 days, please notify Darlene ASAP so that the dumpster can be moved to another location or another source of debris can be found to fill the dumpster.
  • The location of the dumpsters will be rotated around your neighborhood, once returned after dumping.
  • Any resident is welcome to use the Republic Dumpster located near their home.
  • Harris County MUD will continue this process as long as fiscally possible and will cease when Harris County arrives to begin their debris service in Twin Lakes.
Once again, please be patient as this will be a long-term process.

Twin Lakes is a 400-home community built around four beautiful lakes with cascading waterfalls and lighted fountains. Its custom-built homes are sited on large lots with ample setback from its wide, tree-lined streets that give the neighborhood its very special look and feel. This architecturally-controlled community remains extremely well maintained including its several amenities of a newly remodeled clubhouse, lighted tennis courts, swimming pool, playground, and walking paths that wind through our expansive landscaped common grounds.
Full-time security monitors our entrance and patrols our streets. Twin Lakes is served by the Cy-Fair Public school district. Private schools, including The Awty International School, the British School of Houston, and The Village School, provide bus pickup and drop-off from our neighborhood's Clubhouse.

Twin Lakes is located in Houston west of the Beltway and north of I-10. The Energy Corridor and major shopping centers are located within minutes as are several top-tier hospitals.
